Born in Grasse in the South of France, July Allard began art lessons when she was six years old, developing a particular interest in the medium of plastics arts. Later, she obtained an Art license in Aix en Provence and is rewarded with a Diploma by the city of Mandelieu (France) for its plastic works. July wanted to start a new formation, so she performed on stage with a theater company and also turned to another performing art: Cinema. Two years later, she obtained a Higher Diploma of Technician in Cinema and made her first short film “O”. Her film was selected at many festivals in France and abroad. She received 13 awards including 3 California Achievement Award in the category “Director” and a Certificate of Excellence in India for her screenplay. July founded her film production company, HYPÉRIA FILMS, with director Youcef Mahmoudi. Currently, she's working on her second short, a sci-fi film set in the world of robotics.
Born in Algeria, Youcef Mahmoudi spent most of his life in Italy, where he directed his first short films “Dimenticavo la Frutta” and “Il Portafoglio”. A few years later, he left Italy for France and obtained a Higher Diploma of Cinema Technician in Nice. His third short film “Kosmodrome” has been selected in several international festivals including the HollyShorts Film Festival in Hollywood, where he won the Best International Short Film Award. He also received the Best Sci-fi Short Film Award at the Paris Independent Film Festival and the Best Short Film Award at the Samain du Cinéma Fantastique in Nice. He founded his own production company, HYPÉRIA FILMS, with the French director, July Allard. Currently, he is developing his first feature film, a mystery-thriller taking place in the world of celebrity.
