Born in Grasse in the South of France, July Allard began art lessons when she was six years old, developing a particular interest in the medium of plastics arts. Later, she obtained an Art license in Aix en Provence and is rewarded with a Diploma by the city of Mandelieu (France) for its plastic works. July wanted to start a new formation, so she performed on stage with a theater company and also turned to another performing art: Cinema. Two years later, she obtained a Higher Diploma of Technician in Cinema and made her first short film “O”. Her film was selected at many festivals in France and abroad. She received 13 awards including 3 California Achievement Award in the category “Director” and a Certificate of Excellence in India for her screenplay. July founded her film production company, HYPÉRIA FILMS, with director Youcef Mahmoudi. Currently, she's working on her second short, a sci-fi film set in the world of robotics.
